Holly Blevins • She/Her • President
Holly moved to the Ashland area in 2015 from California with her partner and 4 cats and dog. She has been active in local community groups and events, joining Ashland Pride during it’s founding in 2019.
She hopes to see Ashland Pride establish a welcome foothold in the community, helping create a welcoming, fair, and equal atmosphere for everyone.

Luauna Daniels • She/Her • Board of Directors
Luauna is from Ashland born and raised until her mom married her step-dad and they ended up moving around a lot because he was in the military. She moved back to the area in 1994. She met her husband in 1997 and they have been together for 24 years. she met her girlfriend in 2014 and they have been together 7 years. She volunteers with CAReS as often as she can. Luauna joined Ashland pride because she wants everyone to be treated equally and it is something that is dear to her heart.
Sophie Waverly • She/They • Board of Directors
Sophie is a non binary transwoman who moved to the Ashland area in 20202. But has lived in Kentucky her entire life. She is enjoys film, particularly horror and horror adjacent, has a multi-level music appreciation, and DIY culture.
She is grateful for the community that Ashland Pride has provided for them.
Sean Farrington • He/Him • Board of Directors
Sean was raised in Catlettsburg, and now resides in Ashland. He has been working in the mental health field for 8+ years and loves serving others in need. Sean is an avid member of his church, sings in the choir, serves on governing boards, and helps lead ministries.
Sean wants to be a part of the change that we have been seeing in Ashland. He wants to help create a more diverse, inclusive, and loving community in our great city!
Desiré Layne • She/Her • VP
Originally from Alabama she moved to the Ashland area in 2010 beginning her career at KDMC. She enjoys everything counter culture, live music, reading and educating herself. A couple of years ago she set out on a personal growth journey that is ongoing and helped lead her to Ashland Pride in late 2019.
She hopes to see the LGBTQIA+ represented and done so safely. She lives with her partner of over 8 years with their 2 cats and doggo.
Kasheena Davis • She/Her • Board of Directors
Kasheena moved to Ashland from New York in 1999. She has a degree in Public Library Technology and A Bachelors in Social Work. She lives with her spouse, son, and their two cats. She is one of the founding members of Ashland Pride.
Her goal is to have an LGBTQIA+ library space within local libraries throughout the tristate. She wants to make sure that Queer and BIPOC stories remain free and accessible.
Mindy Lacavera • She/Her • Media Director
Lossy Rosenrott • They/Them • Board of Directors
Lossy was born in a “lil holler” in rural Kentucky. They are a tatto artist whose artwork has been showcased in local galleries. Lossy loves nature, art, monster movies, and dark chocolate.
They would like to find a way to incorporate elements of psychotherapy into the art of tattooing.
Elliot Fredrick • He/They • Community Outreach Coordinator
Elliot has so far now spent the bulk of his life in the Ashland KY area. They love to play music and sing, make silly crafts, walk in the woods, and laugh with friends.
Faced with the challenges that growing up queer one might expect, he has grown a passion for for protecting the lives and joy of LGBTQIA+ youth. They look forward to the day that every person of every age is given the fair, equitable, and loving life that we all deserve.
