Call to Order
A public meeting of Ashland Kentucky Pride was held on September 7th, 2025 at the Ashland Branch of the Boyd Co Public Library. It began at 1:30pm and was presided over by Holly Blevins with Jenee Kesling as secretary.

Holly made a motion to accept the meeting minutes for the month of August. Sean seconded. Motion approved.
Treasurer's Report
Holly made a motion to receive the treasurer’s report for the month of August. Sean seconded. Motion approved.

Need to plan a new meeting. Every other tuesday
After we have a finished list, Taylor would like to turn the list into a brochure/pamplet to give out

Taylor made a motion approve budget 150 plus 150 for room, elliot seconded, approved
"A Gay Old Time" comedy night at Sawstone 11/13/25
Jeromy moore hosting
One other comedian lined up, Lee Mays. Hes working on finding other comedians
They are donating their time but it would be nice to pay them
We will discuss pay at next months meeting when we have more details
We may have to rent speakers and microphones ($75 speakers, $25 mic)
First Friday
Less traffic this time because of how it was set up

One more for this year, already booked
Pikeville Pride - Andrew will organize a group trip
Poage Landing - Noon 26th - 6pm 28th
Taylor paid and sent in the application
Taylor has a sign up sheet
Try to park the trailer close by ahead of time

Festival of Trees (Taylor)
We need to decide if we want to auction it off or buy it back for the decorations
Decorate it to look like a pride parade (with roundabouts?)
Look into budgets for the different sizes and discuss at next meeting
Deadline for signups is Oct 15

Andrew attended KPU's first aid/street medic training on August 9 and was given a backpack with supplies for Ashland Pride's use
Andrew will swap out the bag and add his own supplies
Training was CPR, trauma, first aid
ACLU event with AFC

About immigration rights and meet and greet with ACLU
